المقرّ الكريم العالي السيفي ماماي عين مقدّمين الألوف بالديار المصريّة الملكي الأشرفي عزّ نصره بتأريخ شهر ذي القعدة الحرام سنة إحده وتسعمائة
[Ordered the construction of the blessed palace] His Honorable and High Excellency, Sayf al-Dīn Māmāy, Commander designate of a Thousand in Egypt of al-Malik al-Ashraf, may his victory be glorious. On the date of Dhu-l-Qa’da (?) of the year 901 (July-August 1496).
