Glass lamp for Shaykhū (Cairo)

Conserved at the Museum of Islamic Art, Cairo.

Three emblems dividing the neck inscription and three emblems at the bottom of the body. All the same.

Body inscription:

برسم المقرّ الأشرف العالي المولوي المخدومي السيفي شيخو الناصري

For His Most Noble and High Excellency, our Lord, the Well-Served, Sayf al-Dīn Shaykhū, (officer) of (al-Malik) al-Nāṣir.

Possible dating: before 758/1357
