Glass lamp for a sultan (V&A)

Conserved at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.

At least two epigraphic emblems dividing the neck inscription.

The Arabic inscription refers to a Sultan al-Malik al-Nāṣir, probably sultan Ḥasan or his father sultan al-Nāṣir Muḥammad.

Possible dating: m. 14th century

Dimensions: 28,3 cm
