Brass lamp (Copenhagen)

Conserved at the David Collection, Copenhagen.

At least one emblem.

The superposition of different symbols may indicate that this lamp had several owners over time who displayed their own emblem (see photo below).

Possible dating: 14th century (maybe the 1st half considering the representation of the emblem)

Dimensions: H. 71,5 cm

It seems that two emblems were displayed. The first one had three fields with a cup on the central one. The second appears to be a unique field with symbols (from top to bottom: a crescent (?), a scimitar and a pair of polo sticks) but has a very uncommon representation.
